Nothing wrong.. you just lost awareness and fell asleep! Very good attempt, now try again! |

Last night I tried to go into wake induced SP for the first time, first I felt my whole body gently vibrating, then it felt like there was a heavy blanket over my feet, this continued until the feeling reached my stomach, but by then it felt like my feet weren't there anymore- after that I don't know what happened but I woke up the next morning |

I got a bit further last night but still couldn't get past being half-paralysed- I know I stayed awake for a lot longer so is there anything that could help me to get past the half-paralsed stage?? |
|
Absolutely, just relax. And this is not just the body- if your mind is racing at a kazillion miles her hour, you will have difficulty getting into SP aswell. Try meditating or just slow your mind down. Repetitive counting techniques also word (i.e. 1-9, then back to 1, repeat). If you decide to get up after an WILD attempt, make sure you RC (reality check) as you may have passed without noticing. |

Will try again tonight and thankyou, I'll tell everyone how it went tomorrow. |

Good luck, fellow aussie! ^__^ |

Maybe you lost awareness for a split second, but I wouldn't recommend trying to stay more aware, just try not to drift off as much. It's a difficult balance. |

Nowadays I think it takes so much effort for me to enter a SP. =[ especially before sleeping at night. I find it hilarious how everytime I try to use a CANWILD or WBTB my alarm doesn't go off or goes off on the wrong time... ah well =D |

If it's going off at the correct time but you don't wake up, it's probably because you weren't expecting to before you went to sleep if that makes sense. I've had this problem before, where I would set my alarm but then just zonk out without think about it. Sure enough my alarm went off, but I woke up, turned it off, and went back to sleep before I ever became awake enough to do anything. Sometimes this has happened where I didn't even remember it in the morning. |
