Strange WILD experience
So I got to the transition phase last night (for me, vibrations), and they were relatively mild. I could think connected thoughts to myself during the entire thing. But when they were over and I opened my eyes in the dream, I could barely open them. I simply could not force my muscles to move beyond halfway open. And I couldn't really see beyond into the dream, because my eyes were filmy and blurred, as if I had to rub the sleep from my eyes. I know I was in a dream because I could see that my room was brightly lit, and I had slept with the light off, like most people. But I ended up struggling to open my eyes until I tried to hold them open with my fingers, at which point I opened my eyes in the real world.
Then I used the dream to have an epic chain of DEILDs, but still. I felt the most lucid in the first dream (and this isn't the first time the heavy eyelid thing has happened to me). How do I fix that?

I don't think there's anything that can be done to fix it. Sometimes strange things just happen. I went through a period where as soon as I entered the dream I would feel so dizzy and nauseous that I had to force myself to wake up. The moment I woke up I felt fine. This ruined I think four WILDs in a row. On my next attempt it didn't happen and it hasn't happened since.

This has happened to me in a few recent WILDs too. I fixed it up by stabilising. You can try using verbal commands such as "Stabilise" or rub your hands together. Whatever works best for you. Even use them both together.

Try archetypal control, this used to happen to me a lot in lucid FAs, then I tried 'putting on' some night vision, infra red glasses, worked a charm :)
