I also experienced what you're going through, I was like "alright, this is pretty cool but what now?" |

Alright.. So it took me a while to finally reach SP and i know what ot feels like and how intense it is. i've ha it 3 or 4 times now and always end up coming out of it. I reality check after it stops and im awake. i thought it would be a breeze once i hit SP but i guess not. So how do i enter the dream from SP? |

I get to SP more often than I WILD, but I've gotten pretty good at shifting my attention. SP for me is usually accompanied by a change in awareness. I stop noticing any of my surroundings and only have a general sense of my body. SP sort of pulls me out of the relaxed state I had been in. It would be easy to focus on my body too much and end up shifting out of it. What I do is go back to thinking about whatever I was doing -- whether imagining a situation, counting, reciting a mantra, or building my dreamspace. The less you pay attention to your SP, the easier it'll be to slip into a WILD. |

We were always dreaming of how it was going to be.
Longest chain of DEILDs: [5] WILD[X] DILD[X] DEILD[X] OBE[X] Fly[X] Bend elements[] Task of the Month/Year[] Hang out with real-life people[X] Summon a random DC[] Talk to a DC consciously[X] Find my dream guide[] Have complete control[] Realize that there is no spoon[]
And this because I love it:
I have a lot of experience and this still happens to me sometimes. There are an unknown number of unknown variables that may prevent success. Just don't let it get you down. |

Do you focus on these sensations? It sounds to me like your mind doesn't want to disassociate from your body in bed. That spazzing jaw could be the culprit. If you feel any sense of movement during SP try to follow that movement. This is a method that's often described and I have had a lot of success with it myself. If you feel gravity pulling you harder onto the bed try and imagine it actually pulling you off of the bed. Imagine yourself slipping off of the mattress backwards as if you were going down a long slide head first. |
