      Question about WBTB with WILD.

It says in every guide that you need to wake up for about 20-60 minutes in a WBTB.
I usually use WBTB and then try to WILD to sleep but never make it. I end up lieing there for 4 hours. (Horrible -.-).

So, how does it help to be awake for so long? Would 30-60 seconds work just as well? Why or why not? D:

I've tried WBTB and I had the same result as you. After laying in my bed trying to WILD after about 30 minutes, I gave up and I couldn't get back to sleep. I stood up for like 20-30 minutes. I've also tried the exact opposite. I decided to WILD after I woke up in the middle of the night, tried to stay focused after being up for about a minute or two, but I lost concentration and fell asleep. It really depends on the person, but I guess you have to find some middle ground, like not too short, but not too long staying up either.
