WILD Attempt - SO Close! Paralysis Putting Me Off...
After helpful tips following my first failed attempt, I woke up naturally at around 5am, wrote down a dream I'd remembered, and then got back into bed to try another WILD.
I felt like I was in the perfect state of tiredness/relaxation and I held my eyes half open for what felt like 20-30 minutes. I kept trying to clear mind as best I could, but it was only once I started naturally trailing off into thought that I started to feel something. The first thing I noticed was a soft ringing in my ears, and then a general fuzziness all over.
However, every time this happened (I think I gave myself 4 attempts), the effects of what I assume were the beginnings of sleep paralysis would alert me to the extent that I'd then lose it! In other words I got distracted from my trail of thought when the paralysis got to a certain intensity.
It's such a shame as I really thought I'd crack it (despite only being my second attempt), so I was wondering if anyone had any insight or similar experiences when they started? I suppose it might just take practice to not be so put off by the feelings.
Cheers
