      Night Time WILD

I'm not new to lucid dreaming, I've had one before and I know a lot about it, but I have a question about the WILD technique.

Can it be done at night? I really can't afford to miss out on even an hour of sleep, and it would really hard to wake up earlier than 4, it's already hard enough.

Can a WILD be done right before I go to sleep? I can handle a challenge, I just thought I would see if anyone's done it before me.

Yes it is possible, but a lot harder then normal and the dream u will get won't be so rewarding cause it won't last as long and the quality won't be that good at the same time.

I never got to a dream yet, just sp (vibrations and so on) and some hallucinations. or i just fall asleep without knowing. But i think in dream yoga it's one of the goals to stay conscious for atleast a entire sleep cycle, without prior sleep that is.

      Anyway good luck

It's not a question of effort, it's a question of neurotransmitters. At bed time, they're just not in the proper balance to facilitate any kind of real attempt at a LD. This is obviously assuming you're healthy and not under the influence of sleep altering drugs.

well what can I do? I mean, I would like to have another lucid dream, but I just can't alter my sleeping schedule too much. I tried MILD last night, and I had trouble focusing, my mind kept wandering. I've tried the dream signs technique, but I took notes on my dreams for two months and couldn't find any shared dream signs.

Maybe I'm not trying hard enough...?

It's definitely not how hard you're trying. Are there no days when you can sleep in?

well there's always the weekend. I can usually sleep in for about five or six hours, and get up at 10 or 11.
