Question about being passively aware of your thoughts while WILDing...

I have a question on being passively aware of your thoughts while WILDing. How would that make me aware enough to enter the dream state? It seems like we do that when we normally go to sleep.

      Just wondering

Hey, I think It's just something that you have to find out eventually on your own from your own experience? But I think I know what you mean, I Always ask myself that because most of the times I try to WILD I end up just knocking out without even realizing it and raging the next morning. I think that you just have to be a tiny bit more aware than you would normally be when you fall asleep? I've yet to find that level of awareness myself though XD

Well, there is a little more activity than anyone really explains. It's not an entirely passive thing, as you are observing your thoughts, which requires a bit of activity. The passivity refers to taking no part in progressing or entertaining any thoughts you observe. Watch as they happen on their own.

The difference between this and simply falling asleep is that when you fall asleep you aren't observing anything, you're active in your thoughts until they knock you out.

Sydney, there are some things that can only be learned through lots of practice.
