I just give up, pay no more attention to my body being stiff, and suddenly I'm relaxed and I wake up and I'm in a dream :)
Are you sure that it's really sleep paralysis? Because I've never been stuck in it. Either it goes away real fast, or I quickly end up in a lucid dream. I think your body is just numb from lying still for a period of time. For me, sleep paralysis feels like my body suddenly starts to tingle and vibrate pretty violently.
You don't have to do anything to enter a lucid dream from sleep paralysis, so don't worry about the transition. When you reach sleep paralysis, just stay relaxed without thinking about the paralysis or trying to force yourself into a dream. Do a reality check when the feeling of the paralysis disappears, because after the transition you will most likely still be in you bed (but in a dream).
Do you try to WILD at the beginning of the night? If you do, don't do that. It's so much easier to WILD in the mornings, since the REM periods are longer. Sleep paralysis will happen faster, and the lucid dreams will be longer and more stable.
What you need to do in order to transition into the dream is focus.
Once you have relaxed and entered Sleep Paralysis the usual hard part is done.
Now focus and you will start to see hypnagogic imagery and you will be able to enter the dreamscape With this you can now enter, but make sure you wait until you can feel the dream and you are absolutely sure your within it. You can then enter and preform what you want in lucidity.
You can either enter that or an OOBE/Astral Projection.
Well Good Luck!
If you are stuck in SP and need to wake up, focus on shaking your head. That always helped me when I was young and got stuck in bad SP all the time. If you want to get to the dream...focus on seeing your hands in front of your face, or seeing whatever would be in front of you if your eyes were open. Once you get any sort of vision at all, try to touch something with your dream hands to stabilize, and move away from the bed as quickly as possible. :)
If you panic, it gets worse. You can also get sleep paralysis at the end of a lucid dream, during a fake-wake up. Just relax and go with the flow. I used to get anxious because I didn't like the feeling, and when I would get anxious I would have a nightmare. Sometimes you hear things and you are paralyzed and you begin to panic. Just think to yourself "ah-it is okay that I am paralyzed, I am just gonna get comfy and sleep". Or keep thinking "it's not real". Sometimes "falling asleep" during sleep paralysis wakes you up in a lucid dream. You can also try to imagine something pleasurable like eating a bowl of chocolate or something. If you keep thinking about it, sometimes you forget you are paralyzed and find that you are now doing that pleasurable thing. If you want to wake up, do what "Naiya" says. I also have to force my head to shake to wake up from sleep paralysis.
