I have several reality checks I do throughout the day that seem to work well. I close one eye and see if I can see my nose; I look at clocks and mirrors; when I'm alone I try to jump and float; sometimes I try to push my fingers through my hand. But sometimes I dream I'm in a familiar place that has no clocks or mirrors, and the reality checks make it seem like I'm awake--until I try one I don't regularly use during the day. But I don't usually think to do those in a dream, so a lot of times lucidity is just wasted. How do I fix that? |
