Would music keep you awake while WILDing?

If you were to listen to it along with visualization as a mental anchor?

      Thoughts?

I never tried it but I know some people here in DV listen to Bin. Beats while WILDing, so I guess it may work.

As long as it's soft, relaxing music, so probably no rock/metal, of course

Depends on what you can fall asleep to. Personally, I love going to sleep with most any kind of music on, but I try not to use it during WILDs because the music tends to follow me into the dream-state, much to my annoyance.

I use music to mute audio hallucinations, as they freak me out a lot more than the visual ones. I listen to classical music and it does not keep me awake. However, it helps me become conscious when waking up between dreams, instead of falling straight asleep again. It's perfect for me.

I listen to the classical radio channel, to make sure I won't hear the same songs every night, as repetition will defeat the purpose of me waking up during the night to record my dreams.

Interesting fact: the music does not transfer to my dreams, not even lucid ones where I *know* there is music playing IRL.

I'd want the music to follow me in to the dream state
