Pretty sure I explain it in this reply, let me know if you still need more clarification, though. |

Oh also Mzzkc, I followed your guide when it said to fall asleep like normal, while being passively aware of your anchor of choice. When I did this, I moved a lot, to get comfortable. It seemed I would never be truly comfortable (putting your arm under the pillow for the cool spot, but then it gets warm, so you move it again, etc.). I kept scratching random itches and stuff like that. |

Your mind wasn't empty enough. You were still waiting for something to happen. You literally need to just fall asleep. But if it's too difficult to keep an anchor and still fall asleep like normal, then I would suggest the DEILD method. It's very similar, except you do it immediately after waking. With DEILD, you're automatically 90% of the way there, so it's easier to get back to sleep. The catch with DEILD is that you need to have the presence of mind to remember to not move a muscle upon waking. This is in contrast with WILD, which allows movement if it facilitates falling asleep. |

I suggest you use BillyBob's tutorial instead. Less mumbo jumbo. |

Try meditating by counting your breath and after a while you should just suddenly realize that for the last 30 seconds or wateva you haven't been counting. You have been thinking without realizing it. And it's sort of subconscious thoughts. It feels like it thinks it self. |

Yeah! So that way more people would know about it. It's a great method |

I know! I noticed that once I said something in my mind, something similar (but completely random) popped up, usually an image, and I went from there. For example, like, a balloon. Then immediately rubber popped up in my mind or something. I can't really remember all that I thought of |
