WILD: i think this is a sleep paralysis question may be transition

I no longer know how to just "let go". I'm sure you will know what I mean if you have entered full sleep paralysis (or is it transition) while aware. Is there anyone here who can... i guess show me the way or just guide me through it? And

For those of you who don't understand what I mean by "let go": it is the first feeling you become aware of when you enter full sleep paralysis or transition (i forget which one). it feels like you are letting go of your physical self or for those of you who have experience with seizures it feels you're about to have a grand mal seizure. For those of you who haven't experienced a grand mal or sleep paralysis/transition - whichever it is: it feels like you are falling through the floor (just before you black out and have a seizure).

I'm not sure about whether this "letting go" is in the event of sleep paralysis or not because i realize sleep paralysis is where you can no longer feel your body and you feel like you're floating but I've had times where I skipped that (so it felt) and gone straight into this phase where I start hallucinating and I just am without a body.

Excuse my confusion - I hope I haven't confused you because I really need your help. I can no longer attain this level of... of... something something something. I'm tired, I'll work on this tomorrow.

What helps me for letting go....I try to imagine that I'm a feather, slowly floating to the ground. Swaying this way and that in the wind, gently sinking. When it comes to the vibrations and other stuff, my best advice is to just ride it out. Be confident that you are safe, this is a natural thing that happens every time you sleep--you just happen to be conscious for it this time. Just maintain consciousness, be aware of what's going on but try to stay as an observer and be calm about it. The SP will usually subside and you'll enter the dream. If this doesn't happen...try visualizing your hands in front of your face or visualize part of your room. If and when you're able to see dream stuff, stabilize by touching dream objects as much as possible. Good luck.

Great, thank you very much Naiya . I normally repeat something like relax deeper and synchronize it with my breathing but lately it's been putting me to sleep

I'll definitely try what you suggested.

I think I know exactly what you are talking about. This letting go feeling is different for everyone, some people feel like they are falling through their beds, others feel various other things. Personally I feel a change in my body shape and position, as if my body has almost disintigrated and then reformed anew but different from the old, and at times I also feel like I am floating above my bed freely. I never open my eyes during these phases so I don't know exactly what is going on but if I remain calm and aware throughout the SP, I end up transitioning into a dream inside my own room without having to visualize anything or try hard at all. I think you should read a thread I posted a while ago titled "Shapeshifting into WILD (help for those misunderstanding transition)" In that thread I talk about exactly what I feel when I transition and "let go" into a WILD. If you have any further questions after reading that, feel free to PM me.
