I really want to wild!!!! Help!

Hi. I've never ever been good at WILDing. This is annoying me

Normally, I get lucid 2-3 times a week, but this is a very inconstant number. For example, this week I haven't had a single one. At top of that, many LDs aren't very vivid or long. I get all my LDs from a mix of DILD, SAT and MILD.

BUt I really want to master the art of WILDing! I've never had a WILD before, but I've tried many times. The problem is, I can't get to SP or HH. I don't know why, but I'm July laying in my bed for hours without results. I know how long I have to be awake to avoid falling asleep,so that's not the problem.

Another thing that I've discovered is that every time I try a new WILD technique, it seems to work the firs two three times I try it, but then, it just stops, and I I'm not even close to a LD when using it.

f.ex. This week, I tried CrazyInSane's CAN-WILD technique. The first time, I almost got a LD, the second time I got one, the third time I got nothing and the all the times after that I just stopped being close to get one. The problem this time was that I suddenly woke up and moved my foot 15 minutes before the alarm rangh. This happens with every WILD technique I try, suddenly it doesn't work anymore!

Anyway, with a "traditional" WILD' I either just fall asleep, or I lay in my bed for hours.

I really need some help, so any experienced WILDer (a person that have had a couple successful WILDs) please enlighten me

Sorry bad English have to go now bye

It is hard to know what you are doing wrong. The most common mistake is trying to WILD at the wrong time of night. Make sure you are doing it after 4 or 5 hours of sleep and at a time when you think you will be approaching a REM dreaming cycle. Timing is a huge part of it.

Maybe for the next few attempts, you can just watch what happens to your thoughts as you fall asleep. Don't try any specific method. Just try to learn what you normally do when you fall asleep. Become comfortable with the stages your brain goes through.

That's also a part of the problem... I don't know when to wake up. I get very different answers... from 4 hours to even 7 :S

I never bother to attempt WILDs unless I wake up and can remember the dream I was just in
