      WILD Transition Question

On my first WILD attempt at one point when I closed my eyes it from black, to white. What does that mean, exactly? And at this point should I open my eyes?

      Thanks!

I think I've experienced SP twice now, both from DEILDs, was very close with two WILD attempts.

From what I've experienced you begin to hear noises after a while, or feel vibrations or hallucinate. What you want to do in this state is to visualize your dream, and it'll pop up right infront of you. Wait for about 10 seconds before interacting with the dream and moving around though, it's like thin ice initially and very easy to wake up from.

So, keep my eyes open the whole time, and after I get the signs of entering the dream state, imagine what I want to be in my LD? I really don't get noises, or hallucinations. In fact, my SP isn't even that bad, so would it all still work the same?

A lot of people get confused about this. You have to keep your eyes closed, or else you're wasting your time. You don't really "see" hallucinations with your eyes. Also, I don't get that much HI either. Everyone's different, some people get a lot of scary images, while others get simple colors or shapes.

As stated above, just keep your eyes closed and eventually the transition will take place. It's different for everyone to be honest but you should generally know when your conscious shifts from waking reality to a dream. Another thing to really impress into your practices is even after you give up on a WILD attempt always perform a Reality Check. I once gave up and wrote the results in my experimentation journal only to wake up the next morning to see nothing was really written at all and that I had a false awakening.

Yea, keep your eyes closed like these people are saying, dont open them and you should transition smoothly into a dream without even having to visualize it. Make sure you don't try to move when you feel the SP effects, i've tried to move before to test if I really was in SP and it started becoming a natural reaction to it and I was never able to transition, you gotta stay still and eyes closed and just be patient. Like bredirish, I also had a transition where the vibratons stopped, everything went normal and I saw the back of my eyelids and I thought I failed, but then when I got up I realised I had actually successfully transitioned. Good Luck
