There are a lot of similar threads, but some of my questions are a bit out of the norm or hard to search for so I made a thread myself.
I have been lucid dreaming for a while, but I put it on hold for a while, and now I am back to conquer my throne.
I have never had a WILD myself, but I want to try to have one, thus I've tried sometimes, but just lighthearted attempts involving the WBTB technique. Tonight I wanted to have a really serious attempt, and that's what I got.
I woke up after having slept for about 4 hours, and laid still. Not long after I began feeling slight vibrations in my feet and hands. Then after a while I the vibrations became bigger and my heart was beating very fast. I could feel it all over my legs and I had a feeling that I was falling through the bed, with a strong feeling all over my body (shift of consciousness?).
It only lastet a few seconds, and after it was done I felt a lot lighter, but I still wasn't paralyzed (at least I think so). It felt as if I was pulling away from my body. I felt almost alien in my own body, a new sensation one might say. It felt as if I had moved further up my skull, that my head and that the head was the only part of the body left to concern for.
I laid there for a while, but nothing happened after that. No sounds, imagery forming a dream, no nothing.
Was I close to having a SP? Why couldn't I go further? I didn't even focus on having a SP, but falling asleep while remaining consciousness and not focusing too much on my body, but still it didn't work.
Is the incident with the body feeling alien (a new sensation) and "living in the head, and not the body" normal when one experiences SP or is close? Was the HI close by?
Sorry for having so many questions, but I have a lot on my mind. Would appreciate it if someone gave me some pointers, thanks.
