      Stupid Heart Rate

So I went to bed to have a caffeine nap (drink caffeine, sleep for 20 minutes and wake up feeling great, in case you haven't heard of that), and then I started getting some signs I recognised from WILD tutorials.

So I felt really heavy, and then suddenly my muscles all seemed to freeze. This felt so close to being the perfect WILD. My arms had a feeling in them, as if they were moving by themselves. In fact they couldn't have been moving. I was seeing HI, and I could make the images more intense - but then I got distracted. My heart was going really loud, and it felt like I was breathing with massive chest movements.

I tried to stop them but doing this distracted me so I got too alert and awake. I tried again, and a similar thing happened.

So, was the faster heart rate due to the caffeine? I think I could have imagined it - part of SP/hallucinations - but it was still enough to distract me. If it wasn't the caffeine, then does anyone know how I can stop myself focusing on that? It was just too distracting. It wasn't that I was scared - I thought it was just my mind, but I still got distracted.

      Thanks

I've had this happen several times before in a similar scenario without any caffiene involved. I'm not sure, but I've heard that when this happens, your heart actually seems to be beating much harder/faster than it really is; that it's just a hallucination. Can anyone confirm that?

I have heard that also. It is all just a hallucination your heart isn't really beating that fast at all.

I have heard it's a hallucination, and I thought at the time that it was all in my mind. I just don't know how to stop focusing so much on my body.
