      Intensifying Hypnagogia

      I've been working on WILD'ing lately, and I've noticed that my hypnagogia isn't nearly as intense as most people seem to describe. In fact, I'm almost wondering if it is there at all. I have never experienced visual hallucinations during this, and have never seen patterns on the back of my eyelids when I close them.

      Is there some way I can make hypnagogia more intense in order to make it an effective tool for WILD'ing?

      Ah, well the hypnagogic hallucinations and imagery will vary from one attempt to the other. As well as from one dreamer to the other. Sometimes, I will complete a WILD having very little visual imagery at all. Other times, I will have full blown hallucinations that seem almost like an interactive cartoon. Have you got into full body paralysis in any of your attempts yet? You may not have gotten far enough along in the process where the full blown hallucinations generally occur. Do you get any other hallucinations like auditory, tactile, any unexplained feelings, vibrations, etc?
