Thread: Weird Morning!

Ok so today I woke up at like 4:39 due to waking up from a dream I didn't remember. Sigh....So after that I fell back asleep and then woke up and remembered a dream. So at this point its like 8:30 so I go back to bed. Wake up AGAIN and it's about 9:20, I remember a dream. So it's like almost 10 and my mom is nagging me about getting up so I lay down and for some reason (Maybe it was an FA) I try to WILD. I try to envision something, so I envision Abraham Lincoln and he is actually there! So i say to myself "I want to see Abraham Lincoln get shot" And as soon as I do that i see a kind of blurry image of him getting shot! So i try to step inside this scene and sure enough there I am, inside a WILD!!!

Hmm, I think you may have hit the nail on the head with your "Maybe it was a False Awakening." Especially since Abraham Lincoln showed up immediately after thinking about him. I have laid down in a lucid dream and WILDed within the dream to see what it is like. To be honest, it is a lot like a normal WILD, but everything starts happening the instant I close my eyes (for me anyway). A general rule I like to play by is, if you think it was a false awakening and you were actually still sleeping, then it likely was. Whenever you are awake, it is easy tell you are actually in waking life. The dream state is different though . There is another possibility I just thought of.

You may have performed a DEILD without even knowing it. If you got woke up and immediately returned to sleep, you could have slipped into that short lived SP session that sometimes goes along with DEILD. This could be where your Lincoln scene took place. I would really have to have been the one dreaming to know for sure. Either way, congrats on your success and I would suggest classifying the dream however you wish.
