      Question about WILD transition

My recent WILD attempts seem to be getting better and I was hoping to seal the deal tonight and had a few questions. I have just been focusing on my breathing and this gets me really relaxed and entering SP. But I sometimes feel like focus on my breathing is keeping me awake. Since the point is to fall asleep could you just kinda let your self drift but still be aware and then go into the dream, and/or will just focusing on your breathing and counting them eventually lead you into the dream?

Another question I had was about the WILD transition, are there any signs other than SP that you are close or that your are entering WILD. If so what should I do during this period, just relax and watch HI / count breathes?

      Thanks

Yea, you are totally right, I always tried diff, breathing and counting techniques but they did the same thing, kept me awake. So what works better is to do nothing until your almost asleep than I try to same something in my mind to wake me back up just a little or at least get my mind a bit active so I don't totally fall asleep.

Don't focus on breathing or anything like you said, focusing on breathing will just keep you from falling asleep. Just lay back and relax.

Focusing on breathing should only be used to get you into SP. It is really a SP induction method. Once you get into SP, it has done its job and should be stopped. Next, you just casually observe any HI/HH that you may see/hear. Just kick back and passively watch it. Don't try to pick out details, just glance over it and wait for the next HI to come. Keep the thought in your mind that you are about to enter into the dream state and stay confident. Know 100% that you will succeed. Let the process do the work for you and the dream scene will soon form around you. If you hear anything, don't try to make out words (if it is talking), just in one ear and out the other the noises. Just wait for the next ones to pass through. Good luck to you and hope I helped clear things up a bit!
