The fast heartbeat is a common hallucination during SP. You heartbeat actually slows down during this process, so just try to ignore that. Just try to relax as opposed to holding your eye lids tightly shut. Your eyes will flutter because you are entering REM directly from the waking state. REM does stand for Rapid Eye Movement after all. The key is to casually observe the HI/HH even if it is just colored blobs. Don't focus on it, but just passively enjoy it waiting for the next HI to come by. Don't try to do anything with your actual body...in fact you should completely forget about it. If you focus on your actual body once you have hit SP, it will you prolonge/keep a connection to it. This can end SP, cause the transition process to drag out, or cause great instability even if you make it into the dream state. |
