Thread: Was this a close WILD attempt?

I woke up in the middle of the night last night and after staying up for about an hour i decided to attempt to WILD instead of just going to sleep. I was already tired and this was the first time I had any results, they were also within about 30 minutes. and ive tried for hours before with no results. But anyways I was laying in bed completely still and focusing on the hum of my space heater as an anchor. Then my first result was a numbness of my body, it was similar to the feeling of a limb you put to sleep in the middle of the night but the feeling was of my entire body, it was a seemingly overwhelming but i managed to stay calm because i knew i was finally making progress. I then heard sort of high frequency piches and voices whispering, it sounds creepy now that i look back at it but at the time the whispers were not frightening maybe because i knew hearing things should be expected. no more than a few minutes after the noises I woke up in my dream world and immediately knew what it was because it was like i brought all my knowledge and intentions to this other body. I just dont think this was a successful WILD attempt because in my dream, although being aware, i was not able to control my dream body. I sort of just watched as the dream unfolded while the whole time i felt my real body and the numb tingly feeling. I could not control myself and didnt try too hard because i thought i would move my real body and wake up. Was I close to having a WILD?

Sounds like a WILD to me. Just not a very stable dream. Now that you know what to expect it should be easier next time. Congratulations!
