      2 questions on hypnogogic imagery...?

I have two questions about HI and SP
On the HI, when I concentrate, I can see little swirling patterns, like slowly-moving catherine wheels trailing purple and white, but they sort of go in and out of my vision. Is this HI? I'm not sure whether or not I've had it before (the early stages). I've had HA (skeletons playing jazz band WTF ), but I don't think HI

SP- I've never been in full SP however long I try for. The first time I ever tried a WILD I had heavy-ish limbs, but I got excited and was paranoid I was going to have a heart attack (at my age?!? ) and moved lol. How long should it take to get to SP? I can take up to an hour and not get anywhere

Thanks. I'm gonna try again tonight <---(She's doomed to fail haha )

For the first question, yes, that is HI. That is one of the more common ones, but there are other ones that are not so common.

For the second question, well, I'm not sure, never gone into full SP intentionally, only woken up into it.

      I hope I helped!

As for SP... I don't know, going by what I read on these forums it seems to be different for everyone.
I have days where I can get into SP really fast and others where it won't work at all.
I feel like it works faster proportionally to how tired I am though.

Getting paranoid or too excited was a problem I had to deal with as well during my first attempts, it will go away with more practice though.
      Dreams are simple.
It's the painfully simple things the human mind cannot comprehend.
After all your mind is trained to understand the complexity of the waking world,
not the simplicity of the dream world.

Exactly, for some people it depends on how tired they are, i feel i can get into sp in 25 to 30 minutes if i'm really tired and sleepy.
