New to WILD - is this common?

First of, this is my first post so hello.

I've never had an LD before and out of really wanting one, decided to miss MILD and DILD and try WILD. When I was going to sleep I repeatedly told myself I would have an LD (part of MILD I think but nevermind haha) and that I would wake up before a dream. I set an alarm just in case. I actually woke up 20 minutes before my alarm by myself and so went to WILD. I just relaxed and concentrated on physical sensations rather than visuals. Soon it felt like every limb in my body was huge, especially my arms. They also started to feel kinda numb and I started losing sensation of where my arms and legs actually were. I kept trying to push it a little, but I fell asleep in the end and had a non LD of where I was at a circus (of which I recalled when I woke up).

What I'm asking is, is the sensation of having really long arms followed by numbing common for WILD? Am I doing this right? I want to continue trying, but I don't know if this is what I should expect. Nevertheless, it felt quite good. Any help is appreciated :)
