trouble reaching SP.
So I lay in bed thinking about breathing or counting and eventually I can feel my body becoming numb. But I never feel the wave of SP or the vibrations or sounds. I don't think I've ever reached SP probably because I can't keep my eyes from moving around. I have my eyes closed but can't keep from moving them around, which is why I think I've never gotten SP. Is this right? How can I stop it?
Or is there anyway I've already past SP without realizing it?
I normally lay in bed for like 30 minutes trying, is this long enough? I try before sleep and after 5 hours for better REM.

You're trying too hard. You should not be looking for SP or anything like that. You need to remember that your number one goal is to fall asleep... You're keeping yourself awake by worrying about all that stuff. There's a thread here by Mzzkc called "Why you fail at WILDs". All the info you need is there. Billybob also made a good tutorial called "How to WILD".

Also, I understand SP is not necessary to WILD. You can also do it by observing the blackness behind your eyes, and the shapes that will start to form, which will eventually form into images, which will eventually form into a dream. If you manage to keep yourself concious while this happens and not get swept away into the dream non-lucidly, you will have WILDed without SP.
