Hello.
So here is my story. I started attempting the DILD method last Monday(29th) I have kept a dream journal since then and tried reality checks. My dream recall was 0 when I started, but because of me waking up randomly all the time the past 3 days it has been 4 recalls. I write my dreams down as I wake. The problem is my dreams are so unrealistic but I never try reality checks or become lucid(except for once). The WILD method never appealed to me but I decide to give it a try. I put on binaural beats through my earphones to calm me down. My first attempt really got me attracted to the WILD method. I didn't move and eventually my body went into parilysis, then the colours started swirling around in front of me and eventually a few random images on their own. I had to break off the first attempt after half an hour to go somewhere. My second attempt went similar, except I tried to create my own dream situation, this definately was more vivid and realistic than your normal 'fantasy'. For the first time a slight tremor went through my body. About 15 minutes later I felt I wasn't going anywhere so I pulled out the state and woke up. The second attempt lasted 40 minutes. I know I need more practice, but I just wanted to know a few things. Firstly do you ignore the colourful swirls and images and keep your mind clear or do you try control them? Then do you just keep waiting for a dream to come or won't it come by itself? Thirdly when you enter a dream. Will you be controlling your 'dream body' so I would open my eyes, if they are closed? I really find DILD Will be hard for me, so as soon as I have time I will attempt the CAT method.
Thanks a lot
