Microsoft Office 2003 isn't free to download. As arby said, use OpenOffice.org (OOo), which as its name implies, can be downloaded from http://openoffice.org

MS Office can't open OpenOffice files,
but OpenOffice can read & write MS Office files
so if you need to flip-flop between OpenOffice & MS Office, just save stuff to MS Office .Doc
