What my problem is, is that I put in the url of a proxy in the auto box, and save and apply it and all that, but when I go to a site like whatismyip.com, I still get my ip and not a generated one.

I'll get back to you on that vista bashing article now.

I have that extension, but i don't know what your problem might be...

I'm not familiar with that particular extension, but could it be the proxy you're using?

Yeah, I thought that too, but I've tried several different ones, and nothing seems to work.

Does anyone know a direct example of what to put there?

When you add a new one, where it asks where to load the proxy from. Type "http://www.kproxy.com" in the URL textbox, and try it.

You mean under the "automatic proxy configuration URL", right? Cause that's where I put it, and it doesn't seem to work.

Yes. Then you click the load button, and apply the proxy.

Best extension you can get for Firefox is a pre-loaded one.

I tried Opera, and honestly, it is worse than IE .

Mozilla is way to customizable, and expandable!

Yeah... I did all that, and it still doesn't work. I don't know. I guess I'm going to just have to do it manually.

No, that's what it should look like. You then need to click "ok" and apply the proxy configurations.

I did that, didn't work then, didn't work now.

I'm pretty tired with this proxy tool. I'm just going to get a different one, but thanks anyways.

How can it "suck"? All it does is manage your proxies(sp?) and let's you switch between them. And it works. Roflmao.
