      Interesting RBD story

For those of you who don't know, REM-Behavior-Disorder (RBD) is when atonia malfunctions which leads the sleeper to act out their dreams.

Was reading about it in an article Shift provided me and I found this:

In the sleep laboratory during REM sleep, the
patient suddenly exhibited explosive running movements,
followed by an arousal. The patient’s actions again clearly
corresponded to what he was dreaming about at the time of
the observed behaviors. Boeve et al. (1998, pp. 363–70) describe
a patient who, on one occasion, “held his wife’s head
in a headlock and, while moving his legs as if running,
shouted: ‘I’m gonna make that touchdown!’ He then attempted
to throw her head down toward the foot of the bed.
When awakened, he recalled a dream in which he was running
for a touchdown, and he spiked the football in the end
      zone.”
I know it's kind of f_cked up but I just can't help but imagine it and...

      (Sigh) What you guys think?
