I hear voices in my sleep

Sometimes when i'm going to sleep, I'll vaguely hear voices like a conversation in the back of my head. When I open My eyes, its gone! Its this just a form of HG? And another question, If I go to sleep when very tired, It that helping my chances to get in an LD?

To answer your first question I think that your "voices" are indeed just hallucinations from the onset of sleep paralysis. Often I hear voices and/or music and noises when in sleep paralysis along with a mixture of real life background noise (ex: fan, passing cars on the road outside my window etc.). To answer your second question I have had the most sucess with lucids when I am well rested and most often when I take a 2 plus hour nap in the middle of the day. I think for me this works because my brain is still mostly awake at this point but I am tired enough to still go to sleep.
