You mean without having the intention to wake up, you find yourself waking up after 2 hours of sleep? |
|
I've had the oddest sleep pattern the last two nights. I would sleep for about 2 hours then wake again, and then go have the usual 5-6 hours you're supposed to have. 2 days ago I also started doing nightly acupressure exercises. Of course this could have something to do with it. I just find it odd though, anyone have any clue of why I might be sleeping like this? |

It may, however you can't pass through all the stages to dream in 2 hours. So really, I'm missing a whole two hours I could've dreamt, and since after the 5-6 hours I feel too awake to try any techniques, I'm missing any opprotunities to dream afterwards. |

What do you mean? You can't pass through all the stages to dream in 2 hours? A sleep cycle lasts around 90 minutes, which means that after 2 hours of sleep you have had 1 sleep cycle. You have had a dream, because you have experienced REM sleep during that period. Or do you mean that you didn't have enough sleep for WBTB to be effective? If after some time you find that you are too awake to WBTB and you want to WBTB, then I can only say to wake up 1 or 2 sleep cycles earlier. |
