      Hallucination?

Last night I stayed awake the entire night to watch the elections. I went to sleep at about 6.30 AM local time
When I was finally in bed trying to sleep, I got what I think was a hallucination. Not just auditory, but also visual. (I have LOTS of Hypnagogic Hallucinations, but never when I'm lying in bed with my eyes OPEN )

Is this because I was so exhausted? Has anyone else experienced this before?
      Current projects:
      -Acquire the Aurora
      -Test galatamine, huperzine and choline
-Find smartwatch app for RC reminders at certain intervals
-Ressurect my dream log here, and become more active

No, it's just a sign that you're going crazy.
haha, actually it depends on the type of hallucination you experienced. You say minor, but what does that mean exactly? Did you see some splotches of color morph into a figure, did you feel as though you saw something out of the corner of your eye, did you perceive movement when there was none....etc...etc.... Yes, I get minor hallucinations when I'm dead tired even when my eyes are open, it's normal, and I have no idea why it happens. I'm guessing your perception and reasoning centers are just not functioning at their optimal level.

I've experienced all kinds of weird hallucinations from sleep deprivation. I used to stay up for days at a time to complete intense studio work. The worst were the auditory hallucinations. Weird voices chattering, barely loud enough to hear, like the hum of a busy crowd in the distance. My periphreal vision would go, too. I would get blackness at the edges of my vision, or hallucinate movement and shadows out of the corner of my eye.

Something weird happened to me when i was extremely tired. I was sitting, typing on the computer and then i suddenly felt a bucket of water being thrown all over my face. I jumped back, and i was perfectly dry...there was no bucket, and no water..o_O

Seriously. It was definitely not as cool as it may sound. Especially when I was whipping around power tools, exacto knives, and welding torches. Scary stuff. I can't tell you how many accidents happened. I was standing over my friend's desk when she sliced off the tip of her finger and said, "That's bad, right? That's really bad?"

Something needs to be done about the current hazing culture of Architecture education. It is dangerous, uneahlthy, and just plain mean.

lol, One time, I had a hallucination where I woke up, and saw a TV. I was paralyzed and watch it till I could finally move and when it was gone. It was so bizarre.

Though, most of my visual hallucinations (besides the TV one) are scary :S.

When I'm sleep deprived, I get about the similar things you are talking about. Except the voices I hear, are not faint. They actually sound like someone is talking in my head. Some sound like they're broken voices. Most of them are deep men's voices. I've had one where I woke up, and this voice in my head started repeating, "You cannot have sex(I've never had sex in my life), and go flying around the moon. You are a stupid girl, and that I think it is best for you to sing along, and then it started repeating my name like a record." I kept screaming at it to tell it to shut up. xP It really was a stupid hallucination. I felt it coming from the back of my head because afterward it started to warm up.

I want to experience a visual hallucination...

I've had many audio ones when I'm really tired, or when I'm falling asleep.

How can I get a visual hallucination?

Well, for me, I get them when I'm extremely tired. Where, I've done so much in one day, I am so worn out, and all I want to do is go to bed. Though, I do other things and wait longer, and then go to bed. On those days, I might end up with a visual hallucination or some kind of hallucination.
