Okay, So two days ago, I found out that my daily Special K has Vitamin B6 in it. So, I tried eating it before I went to sleep. Thinking "Sweet, now I can control when I have Lucids." But, I didn't have any dreams that I remembered! My sister woke me up 3 times that night, so I blamed it on her. So last night I tried it again, I woke up like 5 times, and only remembered one dream! Does Special K have something in it that stops you from dreaming?
According to wiki there are no reports of adverse effects 200mg and below. I would suggest taking like 100mg (or whatever works for you). I have my doubts that you're going to get much of any dream-changing effects from Special K... you're probably just in a dry spell.
Basically Special K is just rice, sugar, wheat, flavorings, and vitamins.
I can't see why any of those ingredients would have any effect at all on dreams. Maybe the sugar, but that should have metabolized pretty quickly.
There is probably something else that caused you to not recall your dreams on the second night (you already know the reason for the first night's bad recall), or it could just be that you've been in the wrong mood for recalling dreams.
Look back at last night and think about other things that you did differently (besides eating this cereal). Could any of those have effected your recall? Either way, I wouldn't worry about it, it was probably just a random occurance.
As for using B6 to increase dream realism -- you really aren't going to get any "substantial" effects at doses under about 100-200 mg. The only real way to get such huge doses is through pills.
Btw, why don't you get B6 in supplement form? You'll get a heck of a lot more of it that way. The amount of B6 in food is very small.
I love Special K
Even though my mother LD's naturally like I do, she thinks furthering my experience is a waist of time. If I were to buy it myself, she would probably throw it out, since she knows about B6 and dreams.
Its so good!

You know you could put it in to a different bottle... or even buy a multi vitamin with it in... I have a mother who thinks this kind of stuff is the devils work...
