I can't sleep! :(
For the last week or so, I've had problems sleeping. I will either fall asleep quickly, and wake up withing a few hours and having trouble falling asleep again, or having problems falling asleep at all. I now seem to get from 2 to around 5 hours of sleep a night.
I think it's only temporarely due to stress. I feel relaxed before I start to fall asleep, but then I guess my subconscious remember my stress, because I keep waking up before falling asleep properly.
Any tips? So far, going for a walk before bedtime seems to at least make it easier to fall asleep.

that happens to me5 times a week... and at most evrydy oO// well I read to bore me out(even if I like reading) make sure your pillows are very soft make sure you hve three pillows one for your head one foe your arms to hug and one for your legs to hug. well it usually works fo me but it might make you feel hot

A walk is good but an indoor workout 2 - 3 times a week is equally good..
Your body will naturally rest then because it needs it to regenerate the damaged muscle tissue. I was a non sleeper until I spent a little time in the army.. had no trouble sleeping after that ;)

Or, work to get rid of some of that stress in your life. Stress is normal, but not if it makes sleeping that problematic.

It does help to get rid of the stress hormones with excercise. That uses them up.
If you know what is stressing you out, you should probably address that too, if possible.
It happens to everybody sometimes. It is particularly annoying if you are a dreamer, I know.

Thanks, guys. :) I'm working on getting rid of the stress in my life by finding a new job, but I think it's going better already. I haven't been getting much exersise for the last month because I haven't been well.
But I slept for around 8 hours last night, and I even had 3 very long lucid dreams! :D I'm hoping it will stay this way...

Remember, too, that sleep is a "learned" behavior, in addition to being cyclical.
If you have trouble sleeping, try your best to just lay quietly and don't move around too much or get up to do anything that will wake you up further. After a while of this, your brain can think that's your normal sleeping cycle, even after the original issue has been resolved.

Oh, I should update this thread to tell... My sleep is back to normal! Yay! :D
