Since I was young, I've dreamt with incredibly vivid recollection. I still remember several dreams from my childhood. Needless to say, they've only intensified. I've read that its a link to increased depression. |

Now this is the day you fall upon my waking eyes, Inviting and inciting me to rise, And through the window in the wall, Comes streaming in on sunlight wings, A million bright ambassadors of morning...
And no one sings me lullabies, And no one makes me close my eyes, And so I throw the windows wide ,And call to you across the sky...
Well dreaming is a natural function of the human body; without it things begin to deteriorate more. You should try and find what it is about dreaming that causes so much mental and/or physical exhaustion. It could be that the subject matter of the dream is very stressing, thus preventing your body from fully resting (dreams cause somatic changes just as easilly as real-life situations can). If this is the case, try and do something calming before sleep, like reading a soothing book, drinking calming herbal tea (non-caffeinated), or meditating (which has the added effect of rejuvinating energy). |
