Too bad you can't have naps at school.
Maybe you could try to include a 30 minute nap AFTER school, before dinner, if that's possible. So you don't have a 16 hour waking period, but only 11-12 hours.

I wouldn't suggest you to cut on sleeping hours, because when you're learning a lot, your brain has a lot to process...

I know of some cases in which sleeping too much may make you tired when you are awake.

I don't know if drinking coffee could be appropriate for you, but I found that it greatly helps to prevent me from falling asleep in class, drinking a glass of sugar water also helps.

I am saying this from personal experience, I wake up at 5:45 AM and school is from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, I don't own a car, so I return to my house walking, when I arrive to my house, I do my homework and then I spend the rest of the day in front of a computer, I always end up sleeping at 12:30 AM or later (yeah, I only sleep like 5 hours a day).

I usually sleep at least 10 hours a day on weekends. I don't usually get much out of caffeine. I've tried eating chocolate covered espresso beans but I don't feel significantly more awake, and later I just lapse back into the same exhaustion. Maybe I don't take enough. How many beans would equal a cup of coffee?

I've heard that vitamin C tablets help wake you up, never tried them myself though

Maybe try to exercise to give you more energy, stretch or jump. Eat a good balance breakfast. Also on lunch time try to take a quick nap if it's possible. Instead of going to sleep at 10:30pm try to go to sleep at 8:30-9:30pm.

I've heard OVER sleeping has a negative effect and will actually make you tired. Might be true because sometimes I wake up full of energy and I decide to lay in bed for a bit (because I can) and I doze off and I wake up really tired.
