Drink lots of fluids to help flush your system out. I know your not sick but it will help. Make sure it's healthy fluids too. |

It's a cramp, I get them quite frequently (and yes they are a bitch). It's just your muscle flexing really hard for no reason (I find that it happens often after exercise, like running), the pain is caused by all the strain on the muscle, tendons and ligaments. If it happens again, just get up and walk on it, it will help loosen up the muscle. The discomfort can last for a few days depending on the severity, so try not to force your leg too much after a cramp, because your more likely to get another one during that time. |
