So far I don't think there have been any scientific studies reviewing the effectiveness of this freeware, but the claims it makes seem plausible: it's effect are noticeable especially when it comes to reducing eye-strain and toning some colors and bright of the screen that can be particularly disruptive to your sleep. |

I have F.lux. I find it helps quite a bit; I don't feel so wired after using the laptop before bed. But like Zoth said--best to not use the screen before bed. |
