I can't seem to lay down in either position for too long. After a while I get "uncomfortable" and switch. I probably switch positions 50 times before I actually fall asleep (which is an estimate, cause I never remember the original falling asleep). |

Try staying in the one position for as long as you can, as it must be your mind testing if your body is asleep, which is what you want it to think. It does get uncomfortable but you should be able to fall asleep rather quickly if you stick to lying in the same position. |

Extremador, one thing I recently did was to add a memory foam topper to my mattress. I have a very firm mattress and it was apparently too firm for me to be comfortable for long. I would toss and turn from side to back to stomach throughout the night, This pad has made an ENORMOUS difference. I'm sure there are other brands out there, but this is the one I got: |

I definitely believe this will make a difference. I slept in my brother's bed for a couple of days when he went out of town and I was taking care of our puppy (who stayed in his room throughout the night) and I definitely slept more comfortably. |
