Breathing and Mantras
Just starting out with this whole lucid dreaming-thing :p
I've read about mantras before bed and since I'm focussing on dream recall and journaling, I use: "I will wake up and remember my dream."
Sometimes I say that in Dutch. Which do you think is the best brain language for me? Keep in mind: I also speak Russian :?
The problem is how to combine these mantras with my breathing. It sounds silly, but I cannot detach both tasks. Somehow I feel the urge to sync the phrase with my breathing. Which would be OK, I guess, only I'm never consistent with the method I use. One minute I split the sentence into breathing in and breathing out. The next minute I attempt to say the whole thing in one breath, which strangely leaves me out of breath and gasping for a new one.
Not sure if I made much sence in making this clear. But I'd love some help on how to detach thoughts and breathing. Or should I, on the contrary, attempt to find a certain sync and stick with it?

I have no idea how you could do that, I always sync my thoughts with my breath.
I also have trouble with picking the right language , I speak several languages and sometimes I think in English (English is not my first language) , so I don't know if I should pick my first language or English :( .

Same here! They teach us way too many languages in Belgium :cheeky:.
