Tha is the same problen I have. I go to bed at night and wake up most of the time before 2:30 . After that it takes for me at least one hour in the best case scenario to go back to sleep. But precisele after that is when most of my LDs had occurred. |

This doesn't really have to do with lucid dreaming directly, but it could be a factor of me not attaining lucidity. (so mods please move this thread if this isn't in the right place) |

Try not getting out of bed at all - don't even open your eyes and don't move when you wake up. This is classic DEILD technique and to do it you need to set your intention by writing in your DJ or repreating the mantra "When I wake I lie perfectly still, eyes closed, go back into the dream and become lucid". This technique worked for me. And don't worry if you wake feeling like you need to go to the bathroom - unless your bladder is about to burst you can just ignore it and go back to sleep. I do it all the time and have never wet my bed (well, as an adult.. |

I have the same, when I wake up in the middle of the night and do something which require some movements for example go downstairs to open the door because my brother forget his keys or answering phone which is lying on the other side of the room. Very often this cause me problem with going back to sleep but reading books or watching boring films helps. Better, study - this always makes me sleepy. |
