      Getting closer

      I think I'm getting closer after lurking and reading through these forums for a couple of weeks. I've been trying WILD/V-WILD and DILD. On the former I actually get through sleep paralysis and into dreams multiple times but two seconds into the dreams I hear an earth shattering "I'm dreaming" an instantly become aware of my physical body and hearing in real life.

      Once I get past that I think I'll be able to WILD. With the other I've always had control to a certain extent in my dreams. In my dream I'll be like this is a little creepy so I'll squint my eyes, focus on something...like icecream or something and be off in a different direction.

      The catch is I'm not actually lucid. It's like pre-recorded. In my dreams I'll even have strong thoughts like...how in the world did I get from first person to third? Or, that couldn't happen...it's physically impossible.

      I guess my two goals then would be getting my RCs into my dreams + not waking up when my brain screams that I'm dreaming.

      Since I've started reading hear I do remember more of my dreams and they seem more vivid.

      Whenever you find yourself saying "That's weird" in real life, do a reality check. After a while it will become second nature and you will find yourself doing them in your dream too.

      Try wearing earplugs and it should nullify the booming voice enough for you to hang onto the dream.
