      Nayrki's M/DILD Technique

This is a refinement of the already established MILD technique. I've found this technique to have a much higher probability of working, especially with brand new lucid dreamers.

      Explanation:
The primary focus of inducing lucid dreams is to realize that what you are dreaming is not reality. A dream, lucid or nonlucid, emulates what you experience in waking reality. If you do not accept reality in waking life, you will not accept a dream as reality.

      Practice:
During the day, question reality. Tell yourself "this probably isnt real". Then try to show yourself that it isnt. Do reality checks, and purposefully cause yourself to fail them even when you know that you're actually awake. The logic behind this is, if you practice doing reality checks and they pass, they will pass in your dreams as well. If you practice doing reality checks and failing them, they will fail in your dreams as well. The difference is, in waking life, your sensibilities will keep you from truly believing that reality is a lie. However, when the same thing starts to happen while you're dreaming, you wont have the same sensibilities and you'll become lucid and likely stay that way.

The mnemonic portion of this method is, repeat in your mind both through the day and right before you go to sleep "this isnt real". If you believe it, all the better, but either way it will work. If the words "this isnt real" come up in your dream just once, you'll become lucid. Then the real question is, what do you do with your lucidity.

Dreams are written in words. Words have more power than anything in your dreams.

Have fun Lucid Dreaming ya'll! Hope this helps ya.

Can you elaborate on the "Do reality checks, and purposefully cause yourself to fail them" part? Do you imagine yourself failing the RC or ... ?

Other than that, looks like it could work though.

Like i mean.. do nonsensical reality checks... like my cat is black theres no way that can be real!
Or you could imagine failing the RC... either would work!
