in last nights lucid, i was in a field and decided to do a reality check. I pinch my nose and realize i can breathe through it, so i know im dreaming. For some reason i wasnt satisfied with that reality check though and said "well if im dreaming, i should be able to just float a little bit, then ill explore".
so i start floating about 4 feet off the ground, then like 30 feet in front of me. My plan was to just float 2 feet in the air then touch down on the ground again.
While i was floating all i wanted to do was touch down on the ground again, sit down and relax, maybe run my hands on the dirt and grass to increase lucidity, but i found myself still floating forward. finally i landed about 15 feet from where i was trying to land and i lost lucidity as soon as my feet touched the ground.
How can i stop floating and how can i aim myself to a location on the ground to land?
also, how can i train myself to stop using "floating" as a reality check? This isnt the first time ive floated after already knowing it was a dream. I dont really want to float around, i want to explore and shit.
this isnt the first time i floated a decent distance even though i just wanted to get like 2 feet off the ground then just land right back down.
lucid number 5 though so im happy
