      My all time favorites are Brian Eno's ambient stuff and just about anything by Harold Budd.

      Andy Othling has some good stuff on youtube, too, with atmospheric guitar.

      For me. I love Smooth Jazz and Electro Swing and this song stayed with me in a dream. I forgot some of the details, but it had to do with me in a eerie night Metropolis wandering the streets.

      also this M83 is a awesome group. With some very melodic themes that'll keep you Day Dreaming.
