I don't know what is the problem but I just keep waking up at night. It's not that I am not really tired, actually I feel exhausted over the day |

When you wake up do you fall right back asleep or do you stay up for long periods of time before you're able to drift back to sleep? If you fall right back to sleep, that's normal, you're more likely to wake as you go through the stages of sleep. Your body could also just be adjusting to your new sleeping patterns I would recommend giving it some time and try to clear your mind of the thought that you're going to wake up in the middle of the night and see if that helps at all. |

I'd suggest setting specific times to go to sleep and to wake up, 6-8 hours apart. It's important that you also wake up at a routine time each day to not feel exhausted. sleeping over 8 hours is just as harmful as not getting enough sleep. Also what may be making you exhausted is your exercise and/or diet. Try eating healthy 3 times a day, I'm sure you've heard breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Try exercising for about 20 minutes each day, and also to make sure you eat healthy. With these tips you should have a great amount of energy, and if not I would recommend getting an appointment with your doctor because it may be a medical condition if these things do not help. |

How long have you been going to sleep at 11pm? It is likely that if it is only fairly recently, your body is still getting used to the earlier bedtime, and is still used to being awake at 1am. Try getting up regularly at 7am (after 8 hours sleep), and after a while you body should get used to it. Also, watching t.v right before bed (or any other electronic device that is stimulating e.g. gaming, movies etc can lead to restless sleep. |
