After having a very vivid dream earlier in the night I wrote this down. Thanks for your help!

Dream about sleeping. There were three rooms. Mine in the center with the exit and a large bed in the center. There was equipment to monitor your sleeping in it. A second room that was smaller and almost entirely taken up by the queen or king sized bed. A third room that was pitch black and i was afraid of entering because of someone or something that i couldn't see that lurked in the shadows. There was also three cats. One was black, one tabby, and one gray. The tabby was constantly coming towards me and liked me and wanted to be around me.The black watched me from a distance and would stop me whenever i tried to enter the dark room. The gray cat would disappear from the room from time to time and would constantly be walking around, not looking at me, whenever i saw it. At one specific point in the dream i remember all 3 cats sitting on my bed.The equipment in the room was attached to you when you went to sleep. I don't know what it was used for, but it was meant to monitor how I slept to help me in some way. There was one scientist of an asian ethnicity that used the equipment the first time and when I was asleep I stood in the doorway of the second room. From the doorway I saw a good looking woman. I had a vivid imagined sleeping with her and then suddenly was in my imagination. Then there was a jump in the story in which i do not recall. I'm back in my room and there was an indian (from india) scientist who had brought in another man who was already asleep to study his sleeping too. He was placed on the other side of my bed but not peacefully, but at an angle with a level of urgency. Then the indian scientist was electrocuted (there was static electricity like lightning) because i was touching the machine when it was started. Then i was alone in my bed. The tabby kept coming up to me and walking around me while touching my (like cats do). This annoyed me and i got up to which it kept getting close to me. I walked towards the dark room, the black cat stood at my feet when i looked in the doorway. I never saw anything in there, but just the act of looking into the room scared me enough to make me wake up from the nightmare.
