Thread: I just got banned from Facebook for...nothing?

if the fan page was called "christians who love the bible and only want to hear from other christians - no satanists, atheists or anyone of any other religion or philosophy allowed" then it would be trolling.

just because my reasons for being a fan of it differ from theirs, doesn't mean I shouldn't be allowed to post my thoughts in there.

Atheism regardless, the Bible is undeniably of interest.

Being a fan of a literary work is not the same as being a fan of sexual orientation, or of a... suicide help group...
Nerve also did not outright insult them; did not call them names; did not insinuate anything negative about them ("all aboard the delusional express" for example). The Bible includes Satan as a character. If the group wishes to expel him because the managers of said group are predominantly Christian and were offended by Nerve's choice of sides, then so be it. But he was banned from facebook entirely.

Besides, any worshiper of the Satan out of the Bible has to actually believe in the Bible, and can be a fan thereof.
The same does not hold true of your examples.

That there's timewasting frippery on it is just because most of your friends are prepubescents.

I'm guessing someone reported your picture. I've seen worse posts on other Christian groups and those people don't seem to get banned.

I actually signed up as Amethyst Star, and when I went to change the name to my real name, at first they didn't let me. Something about how they didn't think I was who I said I was. (I'll let you know when I become famous, though.)

I think you subconsciously tried to get banned because you know deep down that Facebook is the most ridiculous website in the history of the universe. If you can ever convince me that it would make sense for people at an enormous social function to have trivial conversations that only concern them by yelling across the room, I might start to think in the other direction. I might go a little further in that direction if I ever come to the conclusion that it is legitimate and credible behavior for people who had two conversations in college to agree twenty years later to be "friends" after one of them says, "Hey, you are my friend. Do you agree?" But then you will have to convince me that the WTF psycho freak asses from my past who found me on Facebook when I had an account there were worth having to deal with again. I think my account there will stay deleted for eternity. That is my guess.

Dammit, I just realized something. I should have gone out with a bang like you did.

Oh, by the way, the ultimate experience in cringe cheesiness happens when you delete your Facebook account. The site puts up pictures of random "friends" and says, "(Insert name.) will miss you. (Insert name.) will miss you. (Insert name.) will miss you..." before asking you if you are sure you want to delete your account. I think maybe they are trying to kill people by cheesing them out.

That's odd O.o they talk about how they only want your real name and they won't change it if it isn't valid (which is friggin retarded, I think I'll put whatever name I want thanks). And yet I've changed my last name numerous times to things like ImNotTellingYou and WhyTheHellDoYouWannaKnow

As sindred pointed out, it's not a religious group, it's a group on the bible. And, as Invader pointed out, nerve didn't direct his comment to any person or thing; he just said that he worships satan. Satan is a character from the bible, so it's not even like it's unrelated. So really, there was no trolling.

On second thought, they probably banned you because they thought you were gay since you posted a naked picture of Burt Reynolds. They hate homosexuals far more than they hate Satan worshippers. They probably think Burt Reynolds is gay too because he showed up for the love scene in Deliverance. They don't care that he didn't mean to.
