Dance Gavin Dance is fucking great. Their old stuff (With lead singer jonny craig) was better, and their screamer just recently left the band so the screaming is sub-par, but I fucking love this band.

The only ones with any skill are the instrumentalists.

The vocalists - all of them - suck diarrhea through a bendy straw.

They're very weird. They've gone through alot of changes. They used to have Jonny Craig as their lead singer. He's now in the band Emarosa.

For comparison's sake, here's Emarosa.

Everyone seems to like "Old" Dance Gavin Dance over the new stuff. And once again, for comparison's sake, another new song (besides Zoloft)



Basically, the story with Jonny Craig is that he was a drunk. He did nothing but party. And it was fucking with the other band mates. So they left him in a city on tour. Just fucking ditched him. And now he's in Emarosa.

I've met him, when I went and saw Emarosa downtown here. He was at the bar the whole night, but never got incredibly drunk or anything. He seemed nice enough. He really got along with my friend Anthony who kind of looks like him. They were talking like they were best friends. haha. But yeah, Dance Gavin Dance is a unique band.

And they have songs like this too, which isn't all screamo..



And if you like Dance Gavin Dance, you probably will like Emarosa.
