In the dominant universe, the hadron collider has sucessfully isolated the Higgs Boson, but it gained consciousness and now everyone's thoughts are enmeshed in a time-transient subspace. Yu-Gi-Oh was out-lawed in all fifty-eight states due to serious stupidity and small children trying to use monsters to fight off pedafiles. Digimon is back but now run by NoA and we will no longer be bored to death with all the names ending with "Mon". Oh, and nobody misses Oneironaut.

I think I see the the problem. You went to December 21, 2012, and then you came back here. When you get to the same moment on the same date again, you will not be arriving by way of time machine. You will be on your couch or at a party or something. The distinction between the two different things you were doing at the same moment on that day will cause a paradox that creates a self-perpetuating tear in space-time and makes it where the universe never even existed.
