That's simple. You must eat a cat. That cat will grow in your intestines taking your personality. When it's ready, you shall regurgitate it, and when it comes out, it takes your soul. This makes you a cat, but leaves your body with an empty stare. Then when you want to change back, you eat your body.

1: Obtain the type of cat you want to become.
2: Massage it's temples.

4: Feed the cat the soup.
5: The soup's cocoa shall cause the cat to slip into a near death coma, but it's a magical coma brought on by the cocoa's magic properties.
6: The blood shall mix with the cat's magic coma and it's DNA sequence will be imprinted on the cat's now magic near dead brain.
7: The dancing banana shall cause the cat's brain to vibrate at superstring speeds due to the combined effect of the previous steps.
8: The cat's magic brain shall vibrate through the dimensions in the search for a match to it's newly imprinted DNA code.
9: Once it finds your DNA, it will try to fuse with it, once it fails it will try to act as your brain.
10: It will find you already have a brain, and then push it through the dimensions in search of the cat's brain's DNA code.
11: The cat brain shall be perfectly fused with your nerve system. Preventing any brain transplant related complications.
12: Your brain shall connect with the cat body, and you will have became that cat.
13: For Christ sakes, when you become a cat DO NOT go near Slayer, Whatever the hell you do, do not go near Slayer.

Well if you become a werecat by some impossible means then you will be able to transform into a cat whenever you want, and then change back. Just watch out for werewolves/dogs, possibly vampires, and Slayer, especially, Slayer.
